The concerts in the series The Art of the Guitar: Music and Wine are held at the church of Santa Anna (12th century), the basilica of La Mercè and the Museu Europeu d’Art Modern (MEAM).
The closeness between the audience and the performers creates a warm and intimate atmosphere which is perfect for enjoying a wide selection of music.
The concerts offer a selection of music that takes a journey through the works of the main Spanish composers (Albèniz, Granados, Falla, Sarasate, Rodrigo...). In addition to the classics (Albeniz, Sor and Tarrega) you’ll also hear other traditional genres (tangos, bulerias, sevillanas).
After the concert, the audience is invited to have a glass of wine in the company of the performers .
Except at the basilica of La Mercè.
