Transport: Comfortable air-conditioned bus
Itinerary: Passeig de Gràcia > Plaça Espanya > Palau Nacional (views from the hill) > Paral•lel > Columbus Monument > Port and beaches > Via Laietana (Barri Gòtic).

On this orientation tour we’ll show you a bit of everything that Barcelona has to offer. Our guide will create an overview of the city, giving you an idea of what there is to see and where you can find it.

The tour starts in the centre of Barcelona, the Eixample and some modernists buildings. In Plaça d’Espanya we’ll show you where the Magic Fountain of Montjuic is and stop at the Palau Nacional (MNAC) to enjoy the views over the city.

We’ll drive along Paral•lel to the Columbus Monument and around the Old Port, make another stop to see the beaches and Barcelona from the seaside. We’ll then drive up Via Laietana to have a glimpse of the old town and its Cathedral before we return to Plaça Catalunya.

Palau Nacional de Montjuic: This is our first photo stop of the tour. The Palau Nacional was built as the Spanish Pavilion for the 1929 International Exhibition and now houses the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC). From here there are great views over the city.

Port and beaches: Port and beaches. After seeing Christopher Columbus Monument, we drive around the old port and the busy Barceloneta, the old fishermen’s quarter which is full of life and bars and restaurants. We will stop at a view-point of the beaches and the city from the seaside. We’ll head back along Via Laietana through the old town, have a glimpse of the Cathedral and drive past the remains of the Roman walls.
