Kinderoper in the KRYPTA
The Magic Flute - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Is the queen of the night really angry? Are Tamino and Papageno doing the difficult tasks they are faced with? How does a magic flute sound at all? Can the bird-man fly?
Mozart`s most popular opera shows itself in this for children from three years
50-minute processing fun and varied. The famous arias are presented by renowned artists from the ensemble Opera @ Tee. Playfully packed, classic music always remains exciting and funny, without ever being banal.
The young audience will be part of the opera. Without a barrier or delimitation, the young guests experience an intensive operatic experience tailored to their needs. Listening to an opera singer right in front of you is especially memorable for children and leaves deep impressions.
Opera in the KRYPTA offers the compositions as the composers themselves were able to experience them first - purely with piano and voices. Without further distraction one experiences the quintessence of opera and its real beauty.
We guarantee every child a barrier-free view. Either on the children`s playgrounds directly on the stage or the numerous mother / child seats in the first rows. Prior to each performance, attention is paid and implemented as required. Because with us every little guest is king!
The KRYPTA is heated in the cold months and is well-tempered both winter and summer.
Action:
Tamino loses himself immortal in the image of the royal Pamina. Their mother, Queen of the Night, asks him to free her from the captivity of the evil sorcerer Sarastro. Papageno is to accompany him. For emergencies, Tamino receives a Magic Flute and Papageno a silver bell play. All the evil creatures that hear it must dance and be funny.
Tamino recognizes in the temple that Zarastro is a priest and can not be a villain. He calls with his magic flute to Pamina. When Papageno and Pamina flee, the evil Monostatos prevents them. Then Papageno tries out his belfry. Suddenly all the attackers are dancing and laughing. Now Sarastro appears. He pardons Pamina and punishes Monostatos. Sarastro places difficult trials on Tamino and Papageno in the temple. The most difficult is the silence.
To increase the difficulty of the examination, Papageno approaches an ugly old woman. It claims to be 18 years old and his female. When Papageno makes fun of it, she disappears into lightning and thunder. Papageno swears not to speak any more. Tamino plays on the flute. Pamina appears to be attracted, but Tino`s silence makes her believe she has lost her love. With the dagger she wants to let her life, but three boys keep her from it and tell her about Tino`s love.
Sarastro praises Tamino`s steadfastness. But Papageno did not pass the test. He gets a glass of wine and plays his bells. The ugly old man appears again. She threatens Papageno with a dungeon if he does not marry her. Thereupon he praises eternal fidelity, for he has nothing to lose. As the old woman changes into a beautiful young woman, Papageno recognizes his long-awaited Papagena. But the priests separate both, since he is not yet worthy of them.
To the last test, Pamina courageously accompanies her prince. They pass side by side fire and water mountains, which they share with the magic flute.
With a longing for the beautiful female, Papageno wants to take his own life, but the three boys keep him from it and advise him to use the clock. Papagena appears on the sound, and both of them are finally happy in their arms.
The Queen of the Night tries violently to overthrow Sarastro, but fails together with Monostatos and sinks for ever in eternal night.
`It was the strength that prevailed, and crowned the beauty and the wisdom with an everlasting crown.`
