The theatre has the unique privilege of presenting the whole of a lifetime in a single night. The comedy we offer you is as old as mankind itself - good and evil, love and hate, strength and weakness, happiness and sadness and at last wisdom and the understanding of what is really important in life.
Two clowns are hatched out of two eggs washed ashore by the waves. Before they know where they are, they are confronted by the Tempter, the symbol of the snares and deceptions of life, and by Venus, the vision of mysterious beauty, which leads them to set out on a pilgrimage. The pilgrimage proves as hard and as beautiful as life itself - the clowns grow old while what they yearn for remains eternally young.
In our circus tent you will see a fairy-tale. In fairy-tales everything is true-to-life except that it is more translucent, clearer. That is why we so badly need the wisdom of fairy-tales in which all ends well.
