Baroque masterpieces performed on period instruments bring the sound of their time to life and offer a direct connection to the music of the 17th and 18th centuries.

The program selection in “Kaiserliche Melange” demonstrates how Italian and French music took root in German-speaking regions, exerting very different influences within a small geographical area and leading to vastly different outcomes.

Established as Austria’s smallest opera and concert hall, performances at the KRYPTA captivate audiences with their intensity, high quality, and unique venue. Located deep beneath Vienna’s St. Peter’s Church, the intimate hall offers a personal experience that attracts guests from all over the world.

The KRYPTA maintains a comfortable temperature year-round.
