In 2026, the Catania Chamber Orchestra presents a special concert series featuring two distinct programs that celebrate Italian opera and classical masterpieces.
The program “Bellini and Opera” focuses on the great operatic tradition of Italy, featuring famous arias and orchestral works with special emphasis on the music of Vincenzo Bellini. Expressive melodies, dramatic intensity and operatic elegance define this concert experience.
The second program, “Bellini & Vivaldi’s Four Seasons”, combines operatic repertoire with one of the most iconic works in classical music history: Antonio Vivaldi – The Four Seasons. The famous violin concertos are complemented by selected opera pieces, creating a rich and varied musical evening.
