After many years of sharing lives, stages and dreams, the couple Francisco Navarro Lara – an international conductor with several triumphant concerts in the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, where he received seventeen minutes of applause and eight standing ovations – and Francisca Gavilán Zurita, an international flutist who has also performed as a soloist in this famous hall, return to the heart of Vienna to present an intimate and deeply emotional recital: »Love & Dreams«.

More than a concert, this is a celebration of love, shared dreams and family reunion. After years dedicated to raising their children, Francisca and Francisco are back on stage together –, united by music, the invisible force that unites people who love and dream together.

The carefully selected programme leads through the landscapes of the human soul: the cinematic emotion of James Horner (Titanic) and John Barry (Out of Africa), the spirituality of Franz Schubert (Ave Maria), the impressionistic purity of Claude Debussy (Syrinx), the contemporary tenderness of Yiruma (River Flows in You), the poetic freshness of Herman Beeftink (Spring) and the lyrical passion of Pietro Mascagni (Intermezzo from “Cavalleria Rusticana“).

An evening in which love, family, dreams and emotions come together in a single voice, a single heartbeat. »Love & Dreams« is more than just a title – it is a declaration of life, a return to the essentials and an invitation to feel with an open heart.

Lugar

La Casa de conciertos de Viena (en alemán, Wiener Konzerthaus) es una sala de conciertos situada en el centro de la ciudad de Viena (Austria). Fue construida entre 1911 y 1913 según un proyecto de los arquitectos Ferdinand Fellner y Hermann Helmer. Para la inauguración, el 19 de octubre de 1913, Richard Strauss compuso su Preludio festivo (Festliches Präludium) Op 61, para órgano y orquesta.

Actualmente dispone de cuatro salas para diferentes tipos de espectáculos:

La Gran Sala (Großer Saal) con 1.865 plazas.
La Mozart-Saal, con 704 plazas.
La Schubert-Saal, con 366 plazas
La Berio-Saal ha sido añadida durante las ultimas reformas del edificio, y tiene capacidad para unas 400 personas.

El Konzerthaus es la sede de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Viena, de la Orquesta de cámara de Viena, de la Wiener Singakademie y del Klangforum Wien. Diversos ciclos de conciertos albergan a diferentes orquestas invitadas, particularmente la Orquesta Filarmónica de Viena.
