When the curtain rises at the Baden Summer Arena in June 2026, 120 years after its opening, the new season will kick off with a musical firework display: the grand operetta gala. An evening brimming with melodies, emotions, and charm – the kind of experience only Baden can offer. The Baden Stage, like few other theaters, embodies operetta – here, this genre has a home, a heart, and a present. To launch the season, the Baden Stage Orchestra and outstanding soloists will celebrate the great gems of operetta: from sparkling waltzes and fiery csárdás tunes to the unforgettable love duets by Lehár, Kálmán, Strauss, and many others. An evening that connects past and present – ​​with music that is both catchy and heartfelt. Whether familiar classics or dazzling rediscoveries: this gala is a declaration of love for operetta and a promise of a brilliant season.
