Thirty Seconds To Mars - Tour 2027
14.04.2027 | 19:30 | Wiener Stadthalle - Halle D
Few bands have defined an era over the past 20 years of their career while continuously evolving themselves and their sound as consistently as Thirty Seconds to Mars. Founded in 1998 in Los Angeles by brothers Jared Leto and Shannon Leto, the multi-platinum-selling band has sold over 15 million albums worldwide and celebrated their music together with fans on global headline tours as well as headlining performances at the world’s biggest festivals. Over the course of their career, they have also received numerous awards, including several MTV Awards, Kerrang! Awards, a Billboard Music Award, and even a Guinness World Record for the longest tour in history. Now, Thirty Seconds to Mars have announced a special tour that will also take them to Munich, Vienna, Frankfurt, Berlin, Hanover, and Cologne in April 2027.
Even before achieving their global breakthrough, Thirty Seconds to Mars released their debut album 30 Seconds to Mars in 2002. The global turning point followed in 2005 with the successful album A Beautiful Lie, which catapulted the band to new heights. They expanded on this status in 2009 with their next hit album This Is War, as well as the two subsequent studio albums Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams (2013) and America (2018), proving—especially with the latter—that they had lost none of the impact of their breakthrough records. America became a number-one album in both Austria and Germany and marked the band’s peak to date, narrowly missing the top spot of the Billboard 200 at number 2. In 2023, they made a triumphant return with their sixth studio album It’s The End Of The World But It’s A Beautiful Day and new fan favorites such as Stuck and Seasons. The band also demonstrated their willingness to promote their music in spectacular fashion: in 2023, Jared Leto—the singer, multi-instrumentalist, and Oscar-winning actor—climbed the Empire State Building to announce the Seasons World Tour 2024.
After three open-air shows in Germany in summer 2025, the band will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their breakthrough album A Beautiful Lie in 2026 with a special re-release, including four previously unreleased tracks as well as an acoustic version of their biggest hit The Kill. A music video was also released for this version, reflecting the band’s journey to date and their connection with fans over the past 20 years. To further celebrate the album, Thirty Seconds to Mars will return to the stage in 2027 with Thirty Seconds to Mars Presents A Beautiful Lie vs This Is War, presenting a worldwide tour that celebrates A Beautiful Lie and This Is War—two of their most iconic albums. With dates in Europe, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and additional countries yet to be announced, the tour promises a powerful, nostalgia-driven live experience rooted in the two albums that defined a generation.
