Rudolf Buchbinder is one of the most legendary performers of our time. His piano playing combines the authority of a career spanning more than 60 years with wit and spontaneity. His interpretation of the great piano repertoire blends tradition and innovation, fidelity to the original and freedom, and authenticity and cosmopolitanism. He is particularly renowned as an interpreter of the works of Ludwig van Beethoven.

To date, he has performed all 32 of Beethoven\'s piano sonatas in cycle form over 60 times around the world, further developing his interpretation of these works over several decades.

The organisers, the Cultural Department of the Municipal Council and the Baden and Surrounding Area Tourist Association, are delighted that the star pianist has been performing piano recitals in Baden for many years.
